Child Psychologist Position

Savannah Behavioral Pediatrics, a private behavioral psychology practice in Savannah, Georgia, announces an opening for a child or pediatric psychologist.

Ideal applicants will have experience with behavioral parent training and behavioral pediatrics. The successful applicant will spend the majority of their time engaged in behavioral treatment  and assessment of children and adolescents ages 18 months through 18 years of age. The position will consist of provision of behavioral parent training for common challenging behaviors and other evidence-based therapies (e.g., habit reversal, exposure and response prevention, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) in a clinic-based setting. A portion of the successful applicant’s time will also be devoted to assessment (e.g., autism, ADHD, specific learning disorders).  Opportunities exist for supervision of doctoral-level practicum students and postdoctoral fellows.

Applicants should have obtained a PhD/PsyD in school or clinical psychology, completed a pre-doctoral internship from an APA approved program, and completed a postdoctoral fellowship in child or pediatric psychology.  All applicants should be licensed or license-eligible in the state of Georgia.  Exceptional candidates who require postdoctoral supervised experience will be considered.
